Day 1

Chilaw: Welcome to Colombo! Our Representative Will Meet You at the Bandaranaike International Airport and Then You’ll Be Escorted to Your Vehicle to Begin Your Holiday in Sri Lanka With a Transfer to Chilaw.

Proceed to Munneshwaram Temple: The Munneshwaram Kovil Close to Chilaw, is One of the 5 Major Shiva Temples of Sri Lanka and Rameswaram Islands. They Are Called Ishvarams. According to a Tamil Legend, the Temple is Situated at a Place Where King Rama Prayed to Shiva After Committing the Worst Crime According to Hindu Dharma, Namely Brahmahast the Killing of a Priest, Because Ravana Who Had to Be Killed by Rama in Order to Liberate Sita, Was of Brahmin Caste. Rama Stopped the Vimana Vehicle at Munneswaram Because of His Feeling That the Doshana Sin Was Not Following Him at This Place. So He Ascended From the Vimana and Prayed to God Shiva Asking for a Remedy. Shiva Advised Rama to Install Four Lingams at Manavari, Trinco, Mannar, and Rameswaram for This Purpose.

Manavari Temple Visit: Manavari, About 6 Km North of Chilaw, is the First Place Where Lord Rama Installed a Lingam, as a Remedy to Lord Shiva After Committing Brahmincide by Killing King Ravana Who Was a Brahmin. This Shiva Lingam in Manavari is Called Ramalingam Because It Was Made by Lord Rama. There Are Only Two Lingams in the World Named After Lord Rama, the Other is in Rameswaram in India. Koneswaram Temple: the Koneswaram Temple of Trincomalee (Also Historically Known as the Thirukonamamalai Konesar Kovil, the Temple of the Thousand Pillars, and Thiru-konamamalai Maccakeswaram Kovil) is a Hindu Temple in Trincomalee, Eastern Province, Sri Lanka Venerated by Saivites Throughout the Continent. It is Built Atop Swami Rock, a Rocky Promontory Cape Overlooking Trincomalee, a Classical Period Harbor Port Town.

Shankari Temple: the Famed Shankari Temple, in Sri Lanka, is One of the 18 Devi Temples (Ashta Dasha Shakti Peethas). Many Have Heard the Ashtadasha Shakti Peetha Shloka Starting With Lankaayaam Shaankari Composed by Sri Adi Shankara Which Means Shankari in Lanka. Day 3

Sigiriya: After the Breakfast & Proceed to Sigiriya. Afternoon Discover the 8th Wonder of the World – the Sigiriya Rock Fortress. Dating Back to the 5th Century a.d., This Astounding ‘city’ on the Summit of a High Outcrop Was the Royal Citadel of King Kassapa for Over 18 Years. A Miraculous Feat of Artistry and Engineering, Its Unique Features and Exquisite Frescoes Continue to Amaze All Who Visit It, Even Today. Evening Climb to Dambulla Cave Temple – Also Known as the Golden Temple of Dambulla is a World Heritage Site in Sri Lanka, Situated in the Central Part of the Country. This Site is Situated 148 Kilometers East of Colombo and 72 Kilometers North of Kandy. Dambulla is the Largest and Best-preserved Cave Temple Complex in Sri Lanka. Day 4

Kandy: After Breakfast & Proceed to Kandy, en Route Visit the Spice Garden & Gem Shop. Afternoon Enjoy the Kandy City Tour. The Hill Capital of Sri Lanka; Kandy, Was Declared a Unesco World Heritage Site in 1988. Not Only is It a Beautiful City Surrounded by Mountains, but It is Also Home to Significant Historic and Religious Attractions Such as the Temple of the Tooth Relic. Kandy Lake: Kandy Lake is a Great Place for People to Watch in the Shade of the Ancient Trees. Go for a Walk With Your Travel Buddy. One of the Unique Aspects of Kandy as Its Laidback Streets. Evening Enjoy the Nuwara Eliya City Tour.

The Kelani River is Mentioned in the Valmiki Ramayana and Vibeeshana Palace Was Said to Be on the Banks of This River.
